YETI has arrived at Santana Row. The renowned retailer specializing in outdoor gear and apparel celebrated its grand opening on Aug. 17 by holding a mini cookout. The company offered BBQ and beer to visitors. The party continues throughout the opening weekend. From Aug. 18 to 20, the store will hand out popsicles and refreshments to passersby.
YETI used the Santana Row location to launch a new design concept for all of its retail locations. Inside the store, customers can expect to see all the YETI products including the latest innovations from the company and new seasonal hues.
YETI’s most iconic product is its hard and soft coolers.
“YETI products are built to meet the unique and varying needs of diverse outdoor pursuits, whether in the remote wilderness, at the beach, or anywhere life takes you,” read the news release. “By consistently delivering high-performing, exceptional products, YETI has built a strong following of brand loyalists throughout the world, ranging from serious outdoor enthusiasts to individuals who simply value products of uncompromising quality and design.”
The company has made it a mission to create products for people who enjoy the outdoors and recreation.
While YETI products are often sold at sporting goods stores like Big 5 and Dick’s Sporting Goods, this is one of the company’s handful of retail locations. It is the first in the Bay Area and third in California, following El Segundo and Carlsbad.
Because it is a retail location run by YETI, shoppers can get the newest YETI products in store including the Tundra Hard Coolers with special trim kits.
The YETI store is located on the corner of Tatum Lane and Santana Row, a handful of stores north of the Hotel Valencia. It is open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
