Warming Centers Open in Santa Clara

Santa Clara’s warming centers are open as cold weather moves into the Bay Area. According to the National Weather Service, daytime highs will be in the low to mid-50s for most of the week. Because of the colder temperatures, the City says it will have warming centers open for people who need them.

For information on cold weather safety and County of Santa Clara Warming Center locations, visit the County of Santa Clara’s webpage. The VTA has approved free rides for passengers traveling to warming centers. Visit the National Weather Service website to find out when temperatures will warm up.

For information on overnight shelter locations, visit the County of Santa Clara Office of Supportive Housing website. Individuals who do not have referrals for overnight sheltering may call the County’s shelter hotline at (408) 385-2400 for assistance finding shelters or 2-1-1 for information on expanded shelters and additional services in Santa Clara County.
