On January 28 Retro Dome fans bid a tearful farewell to the quirky theater, where for the last four years Guggenheim Entertainment kept fans coming back with classic movies and live stage shows.
For their last show before Federated Realty’s wrecking ball demolishes the theater, the Guggenheims entertained a packed house with songs from their many shows and a special movie feature. “Thank you, thank you thank you,” said Shannon Guggenheim. The company is scouting out a new south bay location, and also plans to make a recording. Dome-less but undaunted, the Guggenheims are still busy keeping the Bay Area entertained.
