Summer in Santa Clara has officially arrived, as the annual Concerts in the Park series kicked off on June 18 with the Johnny Neri Band. Beginning their set with Fleetwood Mac’s “Don’t Stop,” the band played classic rock tunes (mostly from the 60s, 70s and 80s) during an hour and a half set that had the audience dancing and moving to the music. Concerts in the park continues tonight, June 25 with the Mission College Symphony. The concert begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Central Park Pavilion, 909 Kiely Blvd. Concerts are family-friendly and free. Concerts switch to Sunday afternoons at 2:30 p.m. starting July 6.
