The Sparkletones rocked the Central Park Pavilion on July 22. Led by former Santa Clara Police Officer Craig Sala, The ‘Tones played well-known hits from the 1950s and 1960s and had concertgoers moving and grooving to the upbeat tunes. In addition to toe-tapping songs like “Mustang Sally,” “Blue Suede Shoes,” and “Tequila,” the band played “Walking After Midnight” and “Stand By Your Man.” On July 29, Concerts in the Park will welcome classic rockers Cool Under Pressure to the Central Park stage. The show begins at 2:30 p.m. Admission is free. For more information on The Sparkletones visit www.sparkletones.com and for information Cool Under Pressure visit www.facebook.com/CUPBAND.
