It was a lovely Saturday in August when over 70 ladies gathered in The Adobe courtyard. The women sipped cool libations and awaited the opportunity to view 16 festive luncheon tables. Each table was designed by members of Hacienda Section and the guests weren’t disappointed! Some tables had themes – Christmas, Easter, Anniversary – and all were beautiful, bringing many “oooohs” and “ahhhhs.” After introductions, guests sat down to a delightful lunch prepared by the Woman’s Club and their supportive families. By all accounts, everyone had a great time.
The “Summertime” event raised funds to enable Hacienda members to adopt a family at Thanksgiving and Christmas, as well as contributed to the preservation of The Adobe. Many thanks go to those who supported this event.
