On Saturday, October 8th, Sporting 00B Green will have a Goals for a Cure hair booth open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., located at Curtis Field. For a $5 donation, you can have pink hair tinsel braided into your hair (two strands maximum), temporary pink and/or purple hair color sprayed on your hair and a temporary pink paisley breast cancer awareness tattoo applied on your arm. Sporting will also be selling raffle tickets for $5 each. All tickets purchased at the event will be placed in a drawing which will be held hourly for items such a pink socks. All tickets will then be placed in our ultimate pink basket drawing to be raffled off at the end of the month. The basket contains Michael O’Rourke “Rock Your Hair” products (an $80 value), a gift certificate for a children’s haircut by renowned hair artist Barbara Lund (a $25 value), two pink Goals for a Cure t-shirts (sizes small and large), pink socks, pink bath products and a pink soccer ball signed by Brandi Chastain!
