Zumba- Saturday, June 18th, 10:15-11am: Zumba still remains as one of the hottest fitness classes in the nation. Learn from a certified Zumba instructor, Amy Li, how to shake your hips and melt the fat away. This program is a 45-minute workout and will be hosted in the front of Northside Branch Library. Wear athletic clothing/ shoes. Bring a water bottle, towel and sunscreen. For adults 18 and above. All participants will be asked to sign a liability waiver. 2nd Annual Daddy-Daughter Dance- Saturday, June 18th, 4-5pm: Join the library for the 2nd annual Daddy-Daughter Dance. Dads bring your little sweeties for an early evening full of fun and dancing. Family Fun Night in the Park- Monday, June 20th, 7-8pm: Ballet Folkorico Mexicano Fuego Nuevo. Folkoric dance and regional music from Mexico. All ages are welcome. NFL Punt, Pass & Kick Competition- Saturday, June 25th: Young pro football fans will have the opportunity to exhibit their football skills when the Santa Clara Lions hosts an NFL Punt, Pass & Kick Competition at Townsend Field. The competition is free and open to boys and girls ages 6-15. For competition information, call Craig Connelly at 408-221-3056. The NFL Punt, Pass & Kick football competition allows youngsters to showcase their talents in punting, passing and kicking with scores based on distance and accuracy.
