LOCATION: Park Avenue at Poplar Street, Santa Clara
SUSPECT: African-American male wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt
On Thursday, May 31st at 3:05 A.M., the Santa Clara Police Department received a report of an assault that just occurred in the area of Park Avenue and Poplar Street. Upon their arrival, officers located the adult female victim and determined she had been sexually assaulted. The suspect was last seen running from the scene in a north-westerly direction.
