Power To Your Voice

Milestones: Lawless law should be unlawful! – Opinion

You have no doubt noticed there have been changes in Santa Clara. Mostly good. It is terrific to see the progress of Santa Clara’s City Council.

Resolving the long, and sometimes contentious, issues with the 49ers will add millions in revenue to the City. The majority in charge of the Council can now spend their time on issues and items beneficial to residents and the community.

In addition, the insightful and productive work of City Manager Jovan Grogan and City Attorney Glen Googins have put the City on a forward path again. Their selection by the Council majority returns the City to a productive and common-sense approach to issues.

This would not have happened without the thoughtful votes of Santa Clara residents; voters who were willing to look beyond the glossy election brochures and focus on the candidates and what they could bring to the City.

The one exception is Anthony Becker who ran against Lisa Gillmor for Mayor. While Becker was an enthusiastic candidate, well liked, used common sense and made good decisions, he made one mistake: he didn’t win.

Losing to Mayor Gillmor by only 700 votes, Becker probably gave her the closest contest she has had in her political career.

However, the race was not over. Soon, Becker found himself in a battle for his political life.

You might remember the infamous Grand Jury Report that was released days before the 2022 election. The report showered disdain on Council members who met with the City’s business partners, the 49ers, and Becker happened to be one of them. Supposedly, this report was top secret and was to be kept under wraps until it was released to the public the week the ballots were mailed out.

The report was manufactured from Gillmor’s campaign playbook to make a few candidates look like dog meat.

Enter District Attorney Jeff Rosen, who apparently is short of criminals and needed to create one. Becker was targeted and accused of lying to the Grand Jury.

Deputies were dispatched to Becker’s home. They handcuffed him, placed him in a patrol car, ransacked his property, took his phone and computer, and, as far as we know, found nothing. Then, a few days later, they returned for an encore and repeated the process AGAIN, producing the same end result.

Who says there is not weaponization of our “justice” system?

The fact that this editorial fails to mention that Anthony Becker received almost two and a half million dollars in campaign support from the Forty Niners tells your readers everything they need to know about the thought and intent behind your editorial.
    .
Becker is accused not just of lying to a grand jury. He is under trial because he lied about abusing the privileges of his office to leak a grand jury report to a corporate special interest that has had financial disputes with the city. The very same corporate special interest that spent millions of dollars helping him get into office and to try to get him elected as mayor. This situation reeks of quid pro quo corruption and if your publication lived up to its motto of “Power To Your Voice” it would be unmasking this corruption instead of trying to distract from it.
    .
Why does the publisher of a supposedly journalistic publication omit details of a situation that any unbiased observer would agree are essential to understanding the situation? This is not a piece of reporting but an opinion piece so I do not hold it to journalistic standards but totally omitting critical facts makes it low quality opinionating and also suspect. You cannot defend Becker’s actions and that is why you try to distract from him by attacking Gillmor and Rosen in this rant.
    .
I have some differences with Hardy and Jain and Chahal and Park and also Gillmor and Watanabe. Most of what they do is routine or uncontroversial business that any city council does and I agree with them all more than I disagree with them. I have criticized Hardy and Jain and Chahal and Park many times in the comment section of this site but I do see them as serious people who are qualified to be city councilpeople.
    .
But I do not feel the same about Becker. Becker came onto the council lacking the life experience and intelligence and judgement and demeanor that every councilperson should have. He has gained experience by being on the council for about three and a half years but he still lacks the intelligence and judgement and demeanor to be a councilperson. Nothing better displays his glaring weaknesses than the lack of intelligence and judgement and demeanor that lead him to leak confidential information to the Forty Niners in order to help them start their PR campaign against the grand jury as early as possible. And even worse than that was all the personal weaknesses that lead him to thinking it would be a good idea to lie about this during sworn testimony and thereby commit a felony crime.
    .
Nothing better displays the bias and political nature of your writing and much of what you publish here than your naked attempts to distract and deflect from Anthony Becker’s utter unfitness to be a city councilperson representing Santa Clarans.
    .
Anthony Becker appears to have served as a useful idiot for the Forty Niners. In this situation I actually feel pity for him because he lacked the intelligence and judgement to stop himself from getting into this situation. But along with being a liar it is this lack of intelligence and judgement that has made him unfit to sit on the city council much less become mayor.
    .
It calls your judgement and integrity into question that you stumped for this man and continue to try to do so even now. But I do suppose that I grudgingly must respect you a little for having the loyalty to stand by your man.

I wish that I could it that kind of a response to my direct complaint to Jeff Rosen that my kids are being sex trafficked. Instead, charges were filed against me. I didn’t even commit a crime. The whole goal was to bring the case to competency hearings and discredit me. Mr. Rosen was just looking out for his friends who were involved. He didn’t care to send his deputies to my kids’ home, place any pedophiles in handcuffs, or do anything to stop the abuse.

WHAT RIGHT DOES JEFF ROSEN HAVE TO FORCE MY KIDS TO BE SEXUALLY ABUSED?

WHAT RIGHT DOES HE HAVE TO USE COUNTY RESOURCES TO COVER UP CRIMES?

I have posted more information here, in case anyone is interested to see how Rosen really approaches protecting out community.

D.A. Jeff Rosen is sexually abusing my children by proxy. If he wanted to stop the abuse right now, Rosen could simply pick up the phone. But he is refusing to do it.
    .
He also refuses to stop serious assaults that I have endured at the hands of his friends. Please see many of the threats that I was directed to view, as well as a picture of the great bodily harm that I suffered by scrolling to the comment section of this webpage: https://frankreport.com/2024/05/07/designer-child-trafficking-why-are-the-family-courts-immune/

The author’s claims that Rosen is weaponizing our justice system is true. This is part of Rosen’s power. If you don’t know whether charges are filed in any hypothetical case because a crime was committed, a crime is being covered up, or because of political retaliation, the entire community begins to walk on eggshells. This makes any requests that are then made by him or people connected to him quickly fulfilled.

    ..

Who wants to go to jail because they disobeyed Mr. Rosen or reported a crime committed by his associates? He has more power than the voters likely ever intended on giving him.

Just look what happened to Daniel Chung. He knew exactly what was going on. All he wanted to do was follow the law and do something to help protect me and my children. The poor guy was fired for just doing his job.

An arbitrator already ruled that he didn’t do anything to warrant his dismissal. But Mr. Chung committed another cardinal sin. He ran against D.A. Rosen in the last election.
    ..
All the costs of this are being passed on to the taxpayer. Instead of having another dedicated person protecting us from harm, we have been paying Chung hundreds of thousands of dollars to sit at home.

Not even attempted murder sways Mr. Rosen to stop his prosecution of me.
    .
I have already suffered damage to all of my organs. My testicles have atrophied and the shape of my face has changed because of numerous assaults perpetrated by a deranged attorney.
    ..
Said attorney wants me to take certain actions in the criminal proceedings lodged against me that would destroy my standing to protect my children. This is a literal weaponization of the justice system that is being sanctioned by Mr. Rosen.

Think about it. We have courts to resolve issues and disputes in a civil manner. Mr. Rosen has changed this. Not only is he using the courts for nefarious purposes, but he is also allowing someone to influence the proceedings with physical violence.

If Rosen wants to abuse his power to conceal the sexual abuse of my children, I should at least be able to fight the charges without the fear of being murdered. What he is doing is completely nuts.

    ..

Think about the culture that Rosen is setting in the District Attorney’s Office. It has to have some effect on the conduct of other attorneys working in his office. There has to be some carryover to the well being of the community.

You can read Mr. Rosen complaining the new proposed budget cuts will affect public safety. https://sanjosespotlight.com/state-california-budget-cuts-will-hurt-santa-clara-county-domestic-violence-services/
    ..
But why did he dump resources into revamping the D.A.’s webiste?
    https://da.santaclaracounty.gov/faq/about-district-attorney
    ..
He is more concerned with image than anything else. We voted for false promises.
    ..
The Chung fiasco also proves it. Rosen cared more about the obedience than he did public safety.

    ..
And there is nothing that you can do about it. Rosen will keep getting re-elected. He gets all the endorsements.
