VOTE YES ON A AND B. The City’s Charter has been amended many times before. Always with the aspiration of keeping it current to the times and assuring a better government. Currently the city clerk position is not aligned with the Charter due to politics. The city clerk is elected but does not perform the duties. But he is getting paid. Not a lot but too much.
