Permit me to veer away from my continuous, sometime boring diatribe about City Hall. I want to talk about the Deep State. I am not at all a Trumper, in fact I hope that Michael Bloomberg does enter the race as a Democrat and wins. But the Deep State does exist. In 1975, Congressman Otis Pike was thrawted in his effort to expose the CIA. Adam Schiff’s committee is still known as the Pike Commitee. Now I think that there is something wrong about the CIA is now the respected hq of the Trump Resistance. I want very much to defeat Trump, but not with the CIA. Frank Church, Otis Pike, and even Rockefeller would not think this could happen. The CIA has failed except internal growth
