With the new year dawning upon us, it’s important to take a step back and reflect on what we have.
Although it is even more pertinent to stay home with the rising COVID cases and limited hospital capacities, the once-cluttered path to a solution has somewhat cleared up. Vaccines made by Pfizer and Moderna have already been approved and thousands have been distributed to healthcare providers in Santa Clara County.
Meanwhile, I try to make the most at home. Besides mastering how to cook daily meals, I’ve picked up a knack for reading on my free time. As someone going off to college soon, the ability to find peace in being alone and knowing how to cook will be extremely important to maintaining long-term health.
As the vaccine continues to be distributed, I urge my community to stay home, stay safe, and appreciate the little things here and there.
