We are in support of Mark Richardson’s bid for re-election to the Santa Clara Unified School District Governing Board. Mark’s priority has consistently been to invest his time in students and putting their interests first; especially the underserved and at-risk student population. “Actions speak louder than words.” He has volunteered at the District’s Community Day school on a regular basis since becoming a Governing Board member. Mark is a good steward of taxpayer dollars and he has consistently voted for thoughtful, accountable spending that directly benefits students and best practices within education. Since he has been on the Board, Mark has continually voted to support pay increases for district employees, including all bargaining unit members.
