I am writing in support of Raj Chahal for City Council. I have served on the planning commission with Raj for 3 years. I find him to be extremely prepared for these meetings. He’s very analytical and pores through traffic studies in environmental impact reports, often challenging the studies in order to protect quality of life for residents. Raj is very committed to the City of Santa Clara, having served as the president of Sister Cities, founded a Boy Scout troop, and served as a board member of the Library Foundation and Mission City Community Foundation.
