The recent articles about the parasite attaching himself to the wall of Santa Clara’s internal anatomy, Jude Barry, prove one thing. In ten years, Barry has produced one thing for the civic good. He has leached the blood from the city, demanding city officials meet with him. But who is to blame? We all are, for we do not simply demand Barry’s theft of the quality of Santa Clara end. Influence peddling is as old as another old profession. It is time to email Related and email council members and declare Barry an anathema to the Santa Clara way.
