You state that he is an “intellectual patent attorney.” There is no such job anywhere. He actually claims to be a “intellectual property attorney” although he is apparently not working for a law firm anymore.
No, his 2014 defeat by Honda was NOT his “first run at office.” In 2004, he attempted to unseat Tom Lantos in the 12th district and lost in the primary. In 2012, he attempted to unseat Pete Stark in the 13th district and again lost in the primary, and when he finally actually got on the ballot in 2014, lost to Honda in the 17th district.
