S.L. Orme’s letter is a liberal’s view of the 2nd Amendment. They feel the amendment is no longer needed, the government will protect us. Terrorists are killing people all over the world and the liberal’s solution is to ban firearms.
The NRA is an organization of millions of people who believe they have a constitutional right to own a firearm and they will not let the government take that right away.
If someone is breaking into my house I’d rather be cling to my gun, rather than a cell phone, hoping the police arrive before I be come a statistic.
