The city wants to bulldoze our parks and build soccer fields to supplement the soccer park next to the stadium. I thought the 49ers were supposed to help fund the extra fields? Why is the city offering up our parks? The Montague Park is a vibrant park with playgrounds, a swim center and an active little league community. Why would you take that away? The Montague community DOES NOT want the soccer fields at our park.
The city needs to find a new location for the soccer park, as this “band-aid” solution is not working. Make us Santa Clara proud and save our parks.
