Hunny Hair and Nail Spa kicked off its grand opening on Aug. 8 with a ribbon cutting ceremony attended by Mayor Jamie Matthews and the Santa Clara Chamber of Commerce. Hunny Hair and Nails, at 1274 Benton Street, is in the city’s historic Franklin Square and the second location for owner Lynn Nguyen, who also owns Lovely Hair and Nails on Scott Boulevard (at Martin Avenue). According to Nguyen, who says she chose Santa Clara for her second shop because she loves the city, business has been good since the salon opened its doors. Hunny Hair and Nails offers services from haircuts and waxing to manicures and pedicures and is open seven days a week from 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Call 408-244-3888 for more information.
