Fremont High School Receives $3,500 Donation from Urban Plates

Urban Plates Sunnyvale officially opened its doors in July, following a series of exciting pre-opening events and fundraisers to benefit charity partner, Fremont High School. Guests were invited to enjoy complimentary meals and encouraged to donate tips to directly benefit the high school.

After a successful three-day series of events, the generous Sunnyvale community helped to raise $3,500! The contributions will support the school’s athletic, music and academic departments, after-school programs, staff appreciation, and more.

“We are so grateful for the Urban Plates Sunnyvale team and the local community for supporting our school and raising much-needed funding to support school programs,” said Bryan Emmert, Principal of Fremont High School. “As we head into the new school year, we’ll be looking to tap the funds to make a difference across all departments.” The Urban Plates Sunnyvale team, represented by General Manager Lee Walters and Area Director Alex Baumberg, recently presented the $3,500 check to principal Bryan Emmert and Fire Bird Felipe, Fremont High School’s mascot, at the restaurant which is located in the heart of Downtown Sunnyvale’s Cityline development.
