With the San Francisco Giants and Kansas City Royals carrying their regions hopes for a World Series title, the local amusement parks in the Bay Area and Kansas City are joining the fun with a friendly wager.
If the Giants win, World’s of Fun General Manager Frank Wilburn will pose in a Giants jersey for social media pictures, and then send the jersey to California’s Great America. If the Royals win, Great America’s Vice President and General Manager Raul Rehnborg will pose in a Royals jersey and then mail it to Kansas City.
“We know the Giants are going to represent the Bay Area and Northern California well and bring home their third title in five years,” said Rehnborg. “We think Frank Wilburn will look great wearing the Giants jersey.”
