Wilcox High School Homecoming Transports Students to Mystical Cities

Wilcox High School students put their all into their Mystical City-themed floats. Their Homecoming Parade stopped by Briarwood Elementary School on Friday, Sept. 28. The young students lined the sidewalk in front of the school as they excitedly awaited the arrival of the parade. They got to catch a glimpse Homecoming Court and enjoy the performances incorporated into the parade.

The Homecoming Court arrived in style. In a six-car convoy of classic automobiles, provided by the Silicon Valley Corvair Club, the smiling Court waved to viewers on a sunny day.

Freshmen delighted with their Alice and Wonder Land float while sophomores took a trip to Olympus from Greek mythology. Both with a superhero theme, Junior welcomed Thor, the thunder god, with their Asgard float and Seniors transported viewers to the secluded country of Wakanda from the movie “Black Panther.”
