SVACA Offers Licensing Special

From now through the end of the year, Silicon Valley Animal Control Authority is running a licensing special for residents of Campbell, Monte Sereno, Mountain View and Santa Clara. Residents can license their companion animals with no late fees and license feeds for spayed or neutered animals will be offered at 50 percent off.

“Licensed animals wearing a tag are much more likely to be returned to their owners,” said Albert Davis, SVACA’s field services manager. “In short, a license can be a lost animal’s ticket home. We highly recommend that all dog and cat owners take advantage of this very special offer license their beloved animal friends, and help us save more of the community’s homeless animals. Quickly returning lost animals to their families leaves more space and frees up resources for SVACA to help the truly homeless animals of our community.”

Residents can also take advantage of SVACA’s low cost spay/neuter clinic. The fee to spay/neuter a dog is $100 and includes a license and rabies vaccination, while the cost to alter a cat is $50 and also includes a license and rabies vaccination.
