Sunnyvale Community Services, providing emergency services to prevent hunger and homelessness since 1970, will host its annual Holiday Auction on Thursday, Nov. 21, 2019 from 5 – 7:30 p.m.
The auction will take place at The Elks Lodge — 375 Pastoria Avenue in Sunnyvale. Admission is free, but Sunnyvale Community Services suggests bringing a $25 gift card, which will be distributed to families in need during the annual Sunnyvale Community Services Holiday Center in early December. The Holiday Center is expected to serve 1,200 low-income Sunnyvale families this year.
Auction attendees are invited to enjoy food and beverages while bidding on dozens of unique items during both live and silent auctions and a raffle. Topping the list will be tickets for two to anywhere Alaska Airlines flies — a $2,500 value. Perennial favorites will include stays at The Inn at the Vines in Napa and the Best Western Dry Creek Inn in Healdsburg, as well as Bay Area sporting event and theatre tickets, wine tastings and restaurant outings.
Rounding out the event will be a Wine Pull featuring 30-50 bottles of wine valued from at least $25 to over $100.
Those who are unable to attend the Sunnyvale Community Services Holiday Auction may participate by donating funds or participating in the online silent auction at www.svcommunityservices.org.
