Soroptimist Celebrates a Successful Year

The Soroptimist International of Santa Clara Silicon Valley (SISCSV) celebrated their success in 2018 with a holiday party at the home of Jim and Birdie Pacelli on Dec. 22, 2018.

SISCSV is a dynamic, caring group of business, professional women from all walks of life, dedicated to improving the well-being of women and girls.

The 18 members present were Marilee Dunn, Linda Brosio Barber, Birdie Pacelli, Pat Mahan, Karen Hardy, Judy Boccignone, Dawn Zitek, Joan Kirpatrick, Norma Elena Rios, Emma Brunner, Paula Weisman, Carole Sosinski, Carol Szilasie, Debbie Tryforos, Julie Babcok, Evelyn Gleason, Angie Souza and Lauren Mader.

In attendance were also spouses and family members. It was a good way to thank members who worked hard in various projects during the year and to raise funds in support of their community projects. Their only annual fundraising event, The Classy Bag Affaire, will be held on March 16 at Santa Clara Marriott.
