“With an estimated 500 senior walkers and 80 vendors coming out for this event, you can expect to have a fun filled day. The resource tables feature a multitude of organizations that provide information about various health-related services, activities and products that cater to senior needs and interests. This is a great opportunity for seniors to socialize with friends and neighbors in the community!” writes Councilmember Constant in a message online.

The event is open to any local senior citizen, if you register on the day it is scheduled. Arrangements have been made with Yellow Checker Cab to offer free transportation for any senior who needs to get to and from the Senior Walk. The contact number to get a ride is (408) 286-3411 or e-mail dlogan@yellowcheckercab.com

For more information about the event, call (408) 535-4901. Have fun!
