The Police Blotter highlights a partial list of incidents in the city and is distributed on a weekly basis. The Blotter provides the date, time, approximate location, a narrative summary of the incident, case number and the most serious arrest charge.
Meanwhile, the Arrest Log provides a timely, chronological summary of all the arrests made by the Santa Clara Police Department. It includes the name of the suspect(s), date of birth, City in which they reside, arrest date, time, location, case number as well as all of the charge(s) associated with the arrest. This information, located on the Santa Clara Police Department’s homepage (www.scpd.org), is updated daily and serves as the most comprehensive list of arrests made.

Warrant Arrest
Location: Area of Passetta Drive and William Drive
A subject was known to have a $10,000 active arrest warrant for narcotics violations. A patrol officer located him near the railroad tracks behind 2299 Passetta Drive. The subject was contacted and issued a court date.

Location: 2565 Arroyo Drive
Officers were looking for a female subject that had a $50,000 arrest warrant for auto theft and identity theft. They located her in front of 2565 Arroyo Drive. The subject was arrested for her outstanding warrant. Officers performed a probation search of her residence. No additional evidence was found.

Officers were dispatched to a business at 3193 Belick Street #2 regarding a disturbance. A former employee attempted to force his way into the business and pushed the business owner several times. The former employee was intoxicated. The former employee was arrested for battery, trespassing and public drunkenness.

An officer performed a traffic stop. A records check revealed the driver had an expired driver’s license and was on active probation. The officer searched the vehicle and located brass knuckles. The driver was arrested for possession of brass knuckles and placed on a probation hold.

Assault with a Deadly Weapon
Location: 4701 Great America Parkway
A fight involving several individuals from two separate groups occurred outside California’s Great America Theme Park, in the area leading up to the metal detectors at the entrance of the park. At one point, one member of a group fired one shot from a handgun. One victim was struck on the arm. The victim was treated on site for her minor injuries. The unidentified suspect fled the scene. The suspect and the gun are outstanding.

Assault with a Deadly Weapon
Location: 1555 Washington Street
Officers were dispatched to a fight at 1555 Washington Street. Officers were told one of the subjects was armed with a handgun. Officers contacted both involved subjects and interviewed witnesses. Officers learned the incident involved two neighbors. Subject #1 knocked on the victim’s door and demanded the victim exit the apartment. The victim exited his residence holding a BB gun at his side. The subject rushed towards the victim swinging his fists and the victim shot the suspect with the BB gun. The subject retreated to his apartment and returned with a hockey stick and struck the victim with it. The victim was stuck on his head, back and sides of his body. The victim suffered lacerations to his head. The victim was transported to O’Connor Hospital for treatment due to his injuries. The suspect was arrested and booked into the Santa Clara County Jail for assault with a deadly weapon and for two unrelated arrest warrants.

Location: 4800 Patrick Henry Drive
Officers stopped a vehicle leaving the parking lot of an abandoned building at 2:57 in the morning. The passenger in the vehicle gave a false name because she thought she might have warrants for her arrest. Officers were able to identify the subject and learned she was a convicted felon. The subject had a stun gun on her person. The subject was arrested for being a felon in possession of a stun gun.
