The Santa Clara Players will celebrate its 50th season with an open house on Saturday, Oct. 29, 2011, from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the Jamison-Brown house 1511 Warburton St. (rear of the Triton Museum grounds). The festivities include a short play incorporating elements of the company’s past shows.
The company’s 2011-12 season opens on Friday, Oct. 28 with a new production of the company’s first show in 1962, “My Three Angels,” by Samuel (1899-1971) and Bella (1899-1990) Spewack. The Tony award winning husband and wife team’s most famous work is “Kiss Me, Kate.”
