Santa Clara Pony Baseball’s Pony Division All-Stars, 14u, will represent Northern California in the West Zone Tournament down in West Covina, CA. next week.  The Pony Division All-Stars just captured the NorCal Super Region tournament flag this week, which was played in Mountain View.  The team went undefeated in the Super Region tournament, outscoring their opponents 54 to 1 in four games.  Capping off the tournament with victory over Bel Passi, 11 to 1.  The next leg in the journey is the West Zone tournament, which consists of teams representing, Arizona, Washington, Utah, Hawaii, and Southern California.  That tournament runs from July 28th thru the 31st.  The winner of the West Zone will then head to the Pony World Series held in Washington, Pennsylvania.

Santa Clara Pony Baseball’s success is not limited to the Pony Division.  The Colt Division All-Stars, 16u, claimed the Section Tournament flag this past week and earned a bye into the division’s West Zone Tournament, hosted by San Jose PAL.  The Pony-13 All-Stars won their Section flag also, but fell one win short in the Super Region Tournament.  In addition, Santa Clara Pony Baseball is hosting the Palomino Division, 19u, World Series at Washington Park, August 4th thru the 7th.  The Palomino All-Stars earned automatic berth in the World Series, as the host team.
