Spring Open House & Model Train Display
Saturday, April 8th, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. & Sunday, April 9th, 10 a.m.-4p.m.
Come see one of the best railroad libraries in Northern California. Come on by and talk railroading with fellow railfans and South Bay Historical Railroad Society members. Check out their used items for sale, at the Company Store. There are two museum-quality model railroad displays, running multiple model trains (HO and N scale). Enjoy their railroad artifacts. Come view the Railcar and imagine 1st class travel back in the day. The historic tower is a great place to spot a real train whiz by. Live Blue Grass music on Saturday from 12 p.m.-3 p.m.. In Living Colors: 31st Annual Global Village
Sunday, April 9th, 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
The student-run Multicultural Center of SCU would like to invite you to the 31st annual Global Village. Global Village is a street fair to celebrate the cultures existing both in the Multicultural Center and in the greater SCU community. The event will have performances from student groups, student vendors, cultural games, cultural blurbs, food trucks, bounce house, and more. Performances include Latin Heat, student A Capella groups, and students performing West African Dances, East African Dances, K-Pop dances, and many more. Student groups will also be selling cultural food, t-shirts, doing henna, and outside organizations will be in attendance promoting their organizations. Please come out, and enjoy a day of fun. Santa Clara University–event will be located on the bend of Market St. and The Alameda, Santa Clara.
Behind the Scenes Library Tour
