Business of Wine 2017

Please join the Food & Agribusiness Institute of the Leavey School of Business for their third annual Business of Wine. Gather in the beautiful courtyard of Lucas Hall and enjoy a forum for discussing trends and shifts in the wine industry, learn about the vast number of varietals available in California and enjoy the experience of tasting some wonderful wines. The event will include wine tasting, dinner and a panel discussion. This is a 21 and older event. All registrants must bring valid proof of identification. Library Speaker Series: Bestselling Author Firoozeh Dumas

Coming to Mission College March 6 is the bestselling author, Firoozeh Dumas, who wrote Funny in Farsi: A Memoir of Growing Up Iranian in America, a book of hilarious stories published in 2003. It was on the New York Times, San Francisco Chronicle and Los Angeles Times bestseller lists, and was a finalist for the Thurber Prize for American Humor. Her second book of stories, Laughing Without an Accent: Adventures of a Global Citizen (2008), also became a New York Times bestseller. Book signing and sales will follow each session.
