On Saturday, August 13, 2011, at 3:33 a.m., Santa Clara Police officers responded to a report of intoxicated customers causing a disturbance inside Denny’s Restaurant at 3715 El Camino Real. A Denny’s waitress asked the group to quiet down. The unidentified suspect became enraged and threw silverware at the waitress, cutting her face. The suspect fled the restaurant, but violently forced his way back inside and punched the restaurant manager in the mouth. The suspect then punched the waitress in the face, knocking her unconscious. The waitress was transported by ambulance to a hospital, having suffered a broken nose and concussion.

The suspect fled northbound on Halford Avenue in a black Cadillac Escalade. Witnesses describe the suspect as a Caucasian or Hispanic male adult, approximately 30 years old, 6 feet tall and 220 lbs. Witnesses described an associated Hispanic female as approximately 25 to 28 years old with straight brown, highlighted hair. A third associate was described as a black male adult in his early 30s with a cornrow hair style.
