NOTE:  Garage doors are a common place of entry for thieves. Not only are they vulnerable, but they provide criminals a shelter once inside.

  • Don’t leave your garage door open.
  • Don’t leave your garage door remote in your vehicle. If a thief breaks into your car and steals the remote it provides instant access into your home. Instead, invest in a keychain remote opener.

Be sure the door from your garage into your house is locked and as secure as your front door.
