The Huntington’s Disease Society of America’s (HDSA) Bay Area affiliate will be hosting the San Jose Team Hope 10K timed run and 5K walk on Saturday, June 18, at 8 a.m.at Campbell Park.
HDSA’s largest national grassroots fundraising event, Team Hope takes place in more than 100 cities across the U.S. and has raised more than $20 million to fight Huntington’s disease since its inception in 2007. Huntington’s disease is a fatal genetic disease that affects the nerve cells in the brain.

Runners can pick up their bibs June 17, 5-7 p.m., at Campbell Sports Basement in the Pruneyard Shopping Center. Check-in for the 5k and the 10k is 7 a.m. at the park, East Campbell and Gilman avenues. Runners start at 7:30 a.m. and walkers at 8 a.m.
