The streets are quiet, but hearts still scream,
Behind each door, shattered dreams.
Once the sun kissed skies of hope,
Now only shadows, as we cope.
Voices shutted, cries unheard,
Freedom reduced to a whispered word.
The winds of change, they seem so far,
Yet we carry scars, every soul a star.
Injustice reigns, but we still stand,
With love for this wounded land.
Hope flickers in every eye,
Even as tears fall from the sky.
A nation’s pulse, though weak, still strong,
A people who’ve endured too long.
But from the darkness, light will grow,
For we rise with every blow.
For my family and Iran.
Thank you so much for being Iranian people voice who are under pressure of their bad government.
