Mother’s Day Poem
Not yet born
We were loved beyond belief
When we finally arrive
Her face
Breaks into a sunny smile
As we seek out the life-sustaining juice
We’ve really done nothing
To deserve this unconditional love
Yet it is all there for you and me
Where would we be?
Without our mothers to guide us
Through life’s perilous ways
Let’s celebrate all mothers on Mother’s Day.
