Letter from Thiruvenkatasamy

On the southern side of the newly constructed Santa Clara Town Centre lies part of Harrison Street which is purely residential area. Earlier this area used to be very calm and quiet. Now, from the shopping complex, menacing high decibel noise is created by garbage, postal and delivery goods vehicles, which is very disturbing. Immediately something should be done to reduce the noise if not completely eliminating it. At least on the backside of Target, a high raised compound wall is constructed. This wall should be extended to cover the entire backside of the complex, which may at least reduce the noise to some extent. We wish the new mayor will take up the issue and solve it.
