“Some council members say they were left in the dark…” What did they think would happen when the Niners/Levi’s/NFL came here? For years citizens expressed concerns to the SCCC about the very issues we are now facing; cost, traffic, displacement, life quality & each time we were dismissed.
Councilmembers & staffs whom after accepting campaign donations from the very organizations who assured the city that not only would Levi’s pay for itself, NOW are trying to renege on every single promise they made to their biggest boosters. Don’t think for a second the Youth Soccer Park won’t be paved over as soon as there is an opportunity. Last council meeting, Councilman Caserta ‘warned’ us we can host in 3-5 years, “if we do this right.”
