Letter From Howard Myers

In spite growing opposition the city council is determined to make this their #1 priority. The more we learn about the stadium and its impact on SC, the less people like it. If the vote were held today with the knowledge that the stadium would necessarily have to host both the raiders and 49ers, there is no way it would pass, even with all the money the teams could pump into another unbalanced election./

The parking study two years ago is inaccurate and overly optimistic. A more recent study concluded it “…overestimates available parking, underestimates how many people will drive to the games and exaggerates the proposed stadium’s proximity to mass transit.”

Also we will loose the use of local facilities every Sunday for the entire football season. (SCG&T, Convention Center, Youth Soccer Park, and the Creek Trail.)
