Re: Milestones

Your editorial makes some good points. The overall picture reminds me a little of Tammany Hall in New York in the 1870’s. Actually, I’d just as soon see the city council cut from seven dwarfs to the fabulous five. At least we’d save a few greenbacks. Even better I’d want a rule that disallows former council members to keep getting back on the council. No more than one term should be allowed. We need to trim the size of our government at all levels and force the unions to bite the bullet like the rest of us have to.
