Letter From Ed Garcia

Ex police chief Steve Lodge has been hired as a consultant as a safety planner. The stadium isn’t supposed to open until the 2015 season. He is being paid $100 per hour for a stadium that is FOUR years out. Meeting with other nearby police departments shouldn’t take four years.

Surely if Lodge is the man for the job he can do it in less than four years.
I think Mr. Lodge should be fired and rehired in 2014.

Also, who is going to pay for the extra police on game day? The City or the 49ers?
