As Santa Clara residents go through their ballot to vote on their city government, they will opportunity to elect a new Sheriff. While that office may not seem important as residents have their own police department, the Sheriff is responsible for the jails, the security of the courts and providing support to all law enforcement agencies in the county. Kevin Jensen served this county for 29 years, retiring as a captain and Assistant Director of Corrections. His opponent retired from the LA County Sheriff’s Department before building a second retirement income in Menlo Park and Palo Alto. Kevin Jensen is the right choice.
