Just Walk! – Letter to the Editor

Do you know how to stay fit and emotionally stable during the tough times of the pandemic? I want to share an excellent and simple way that helped me a lot and cost absolutely nothing. I just started going outside and walking for an hour every day!

The first positive changes made themselves felt immediately: vigor and good mood returned to me. I began to feel inspired and energized. A few weeks later, to my surprise, I noticed that I had lost four pounds, which has been a really uphill battle for me over the years! I recently added jogging as well, and now I feel great!

If you are full of anxiety, fatigue or powerlessness during these difficult times, I hope my experience will be useful to you. Just go outside and walk because it really helps, but, of course, don’t forget to wear your mask first.
