Dear Mayor & Council,
I would appreciate some explanation as to why the City of Santa Clara is mailing campaign literature to residents. You are spending public funds on political propaganda in trying to sway the election outcome. You have quoted the City Attorneys report from September 29 2020 which appears to been done as part of normal work day where he is paid with public funds. You state that the City has never instigated any law suits against the 49ers. The 49ers have no other way to get your attention but to haul you into court or arbitration. The Council has spent large sums to fight the the voter right act and the attempting to change a contract to manage the stadium. Meanwhile the City streets are littered with trash, street lights are out, trees are not being maintained, but there is money to go to Paris.This has got to change and soon.
