The Triton Museum of Art held its annual Holiday Gift Fair on Dec. 7-8. The event featured over 20 artists including glassworkers, knitters, crocheters, jewelry makers and painters, and gave community members the opportunity to buy local, original gifts for the holiday season. This year, the museum tried something new by adding entertainment. On Saturday morning, the Santa Clara Ballet arrived with ballet students to perform scenes from The Nutcracker. In the afternoon, singers Resounding Accord provided musical accompaniment to the shopping experience. And, on Sunday, harpists from The Harp Society played for shoppers. Additionally, the museum combined the event with its Family Art Day, which gives kids the opportunity to create art that relates to the museum’s current exhibitions.
