The Santa Clara High School Homecoming Parade took to the streets on Friday, Oct. 19. Members of Santa Clara High School Bruins Music took the lead as they made their way to Pomeroy and Central Park Elementary Schools. The elementary schools’ students held up signs in anticipation of the parade’s arrival.
The Homecoming Court waved and blew bubbles as they drove by, while members of high school’s Bruins Music and Cheer Squad entertained and greeted their audience.
The theme of the Santa Clara High School Homecoming parade was Disney Villains. The Freshman class presented the menacing Jafar from Aladdin, the Sophomore class showcased Queen Grimhilde or also known as the Evil Queen from Snow White, the Juniors conjured Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty and the Senior Class presented their Under the “Seanior” homage to Ursula from the Little Mermaid. Many of the floats featured special effects and intricately designed decorations.
