Concerts Series Continues With Bsides

The 2014 Concerts in the Park series is four weeks in and Santa Clarans are starting to get into the grove. On July 13, the Central Park Pavilion welcomed a newcomer, the Bsides, who had people dancing from their opening number, Johnny Rivers’ “Secret Agent Man,” through the end of their set. The Bsides played plenty of 60s rock, their specialty, and kept the crowd energized with their upbeat music – some with Bsides spin – and witty remarks. Legally Blue returns to Central Park Sunday, July 20. The blues band takes the stage at 2:30 p.m.

Santa Clara Concerts in the Park are every Sunday through August 17. The free concerts at Central Park, 909 Kiely Blvd., are family-friendly and free. Visit www.santaclara.gov for a complete lineup of shows.
