Concerts in the Park

The last Concerts in the Park, sponsored by the Santa Clara Cultural Advisory Commission, was held on August 21. A gorgeous day and mellow music by the LyraTones, a 17-piece ballroom dance orchestra, drew a happy crowd. Their big band sound brought back memories of the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s to many listeners.
