A new community event will debut on Friday, May 20, from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Franklin Square when “Celebrate Santa Clara” launches. Presented by the Santa Clara Chamber of Commerce and Convention-Visitors Bureau and Kaiser Permanente Santa Clara, the free event features live entertainment featuring the pop rock and R & B group “The Groove Kings.”
Other live entertainment includes the Deju vu Band and the Santa Clara Vanguard Drum Corps. Local Santa Clara restaurants will have food and beverages for sale.
